Our Year 12 students have continued to gain outstanding SACE results in recent years and Salisbury East High School is very proud of their wonderful achievements, which reflect hard work, energy and commitment.
SACE attainment increased in 2015 to a record high of 95% (from 88% in 2014) and this figure was maintained in 2016 with a significant increase in grades being awarded in the A band, including two merit awards. Over one quarter achieved very high ATAR scores in the 80s and 90s (prior to bonus points being added), thereby allowing them to access most university courses of their choice.
Every student in the graduating class of 2015 who applied to university for 2016 entry (34) was offered a place on an undergraduate degree course, while 89% of TAFE SA applicants (47) were given offers.
These impressive results are a testimony to the fantastic opportunities and diverse learning programs available to our students and the commitment of our teachers.
It is a priority for Salisbury East High School to continue to strive to improve student outcomes and strengthen learning programs to support individual pathways and SACE achievement.
