In 2011 a new trend for Salisbury East High School began when coaches Hayley Weston and Jess Sage introduced Aerobics into Salisbury East High School.
Auditions are held every year and the team competes in the National Championships in May and the Spring Challenge in October.
Aerobics is an extra-curricular activity, where students give up their own time to rehearse weekly. This involves rigorous training in strength and flexibility and learning an intense two-minute routine.
The team has also competed interstate, representing South Australia, and gone on tour performing to country schools.
School Aerobics is a great way to be a part of a team and build lifelong friendships.
