Facility Improvements

Facility improvements across Salisbury East High School have been a big focus throughout the past two years.

A multi-millon dollar Capital Works Project commenced in Term 2, 2014, with Pascale Construction, and was completed in July 2015.

This significant building development has completely transformed our school landscape into a modern and vibrant environment.

A state-of-the-art and well-equipped Creative Arts Centre (pictured above) has opened its doors, providing exceptional facilities in the areas of Music, Dance, Multimedia, Photography and Traditional Art. The building also houses new toilets and changing rooms, as well as an outdoor performing space.

A new Textiles Room has opened as well, along with a bridge connection between two wings, beautiful outdoor learning spaces, basketball courts and shelters. Further construction work includes modern laboratories for our innovative STEM Program. These are used for the specialised robotics, engineering, Scaletrix and programming subjects.

A modern Senior School space, predominantly for Year 12 students, has also been built (pictured above), which includes new classrooms, study and learning areas, meeting rooms, a kitchen and dining area, and offices for senior school leaders.

Other site funded projects have included external painting of the main building, renovation of the library and new signage.

With all these wonderful facilities, Salisbury East High School can truly offer the very best in 21st Century learning environments for our students and teachers.
