People from all over the world are now able to see for themselves the diverse educational programs and world-class facilities that are offered to students at Salisbury East High School.
An updated version of our existing promotional video was published on YouTube this month and includes footage of the new Creative Arts Centre, Senior Centre, Textiles Room, STEM Lab and extensive landscaping.
The four-minute film is presented and narrated by Year 12 students Jeff Seraphin and Shana Maeder, who explain about the broad range of academic and vocational subjects, and personalised learning experiences, that are available in all areas of the curriculum.
SEHS embraces internationalism and celebrates diversity, and the video is frequently used to promote our school to existing, and potentially new, study tours that visit us on an annual basis from Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and China.
The Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) has also used several segments for their ‘Impact in Education 2016’ video.
Mr Peck, SEHS Publicity Manager, oversaw the project that was produced by videography company JohaniSLR.
“Our previous video was created one year ago and was very well received by everyone who viewed it,” he explained. “But, since then, our school environment has changed dramatically so this version reflects the amazing new facilities we now have at SEHS.
“Jeff and Shana did a fantastic job as presenters, and that has added an even more personalised touch to the video.
"I’m sure this will further cement the ever-growing reputation we have as a progressive secondary school, and it will attract more attention to us from within Australia and overseas.”
