Salisbury East High School has maintained a SACE completion rate of 94% following the publication of results on December 20th.
The wonderful overall and individual achievements of our students reflect their hard work, energy and commitment throughout 2016 and the school congratulates them for their outstanding outcomes.
SACE data was released on Tuesday morning and showed that our recently graduated Year 12s matched the success of the 2015 cohort, which had previously achieved the best-ever results for SEHS.
A total of 82 students (94.3%) completed the South Australian Certificate of Education, which is comparable to 96.3% state-wide.
Equally as pleasing, the number of results at A- and above increased from 10.4% (2015) to 16.5% this year, which included two A+ with merit grades in Health, while the Stage 2 Research Project pass rate remained at 100% for the third year running.
Several students also achieved hugely impressive ATAR scores in the 90s, prior to being awarded bonus points, and are now in a very strong position to pursue their chosen undergraduate courses at university.
Principal Joe Priolo said: "These outstanding results are testimony to the fantastic opportunities and diverse learning programs available to our students, and the commitment and support of our Year 12 teachers. Congratulations to Salisbury East High School's Class of 2016!"
If any students require further counselling or advice in relation to their results or future pathways/options, they are welcome to contact Pathways Coordinator Mel McGie or Year 12 Coordinator Jules Peck at SEHS from Monday, January 23rd, onwards.
