Study Tours

Salisbury East High School hosts approximately five to six study tours each year, with around 10 to 20 students per group aged from 12 to 16-years-old.

During the study tours, which range from three days to three weeks, students are homestayed to be able to experience the Australian lifestyle, culture and language.

A personalised program is developed to suit the needs of the particular tour, which include lessons of English, Mathematics, Technical Studies, Home Economics, Dance, Art and Music, as well as many excursions.

The Study Tours come from:

• Indonesia
• China
• Japan (three different schools)
• Thailand
• Korea

The experience of hosting an international student can be very enriching for all involved. By accepting a student to share your home it will enhance not only their understanding of other cultures and broaden attitudes and world views, but also benefit you and your family.
