ICT

At Salisbury East High School, students and families have access to modern digital tools that enhance learning and communication.

As a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) school, students are encouraged to have their own personal laptops or tablets to support their education. However, financial support is available with this for some families.

Daymap is our secure Learner Management System, providing students with access to timetables, attendance details, homework, assignments, lesson information, and assessment results. Students log in using a unique username and password.

Parents and caregivers can also use Daymap Connect through the school portal or a mobile app (available on iOS and Android) for convenient access to features such as attendance records, assessment due dates, confirmation of submitted work, reports, and to get in direct contact with teachers.

To support 21st-century learning, we use the Google Education Suite, including Google Classroom, enabling students to collaborate with teachers and peers in real time, whether at school or home.

Students also benefit from free access to Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint, provided through the Department of Education, with no need for additional purchases or anti-virus software. Students can access additional industry-standard software, including the Adobe suite.

Our classrooms are all equipped with large interactive screens and, with high-speed internet and dedicated IT support, learning is brought to life and prepares students for success in an increasingly digital world.
